

The
Plumas County Sheriff’s Correctional Center, first constructed in 1976 and
remodeled in 1986 , safely houses 67 inmates at all levels. Jail Commander Debra
Gonsalves supervisors a staff of five corporals, nine line officers and two
court contracted bailiffs.
Located 80 miles northwest of Reno, Nevada on state route
70 in rural Plumas County California, the Correctional Center is available for
public service on the following days and hours:
VISITING: Days and visiting hours:
- Wednesday: 6pm to 8pm (To visit female inmates)
- 8pm to 10pm (To visit male inmates)
- Saturday: 9am to 12pm (To visit female inmates)
- 9am to
12pm (To visit male inmates)
- Sunday:
1pm
to
4pm (To visit female inmates)
- 9am to
2pm (To visit male inmates)
- Minor visitors (under the age of 18) shall be accompanied by a parent or
guardian.
- Visitors must have picture identification such as a drivers license or
state issued identification card.
PUBLIC FINGERPRINTING:
- Monday: 9am to 11am
- Wednesday: 9am to 11am
- Thursday: 6pm to 8pm
- Saturday: 9am to 11pm
- Vendors: Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm
- Public fingerprinting fees are $ 10.00
