OFFICE MANAGER Office Manager Kathie Ogle is responsible for the operation of Department's Support Division. The Office Administrator is responsible for performing a variety of administrative, staff, and other management duties, assigning, scheduling, coordinating, supervising and evaluating work of assigned staff; performs a variety of complex and specialized information gathering, information preparation, and public relations assignments, processes all new incoming employees as well as payroll for the Department, maintaining personnel data relating to the employees. Responsible to the Sheriff and Under-sheriff to perform administrative support as needed.

RECORDS CLERKJudy Anderson, the Records Clerk is responsible for the maintaining of the Criminal Records Section which encompasses the copying of reports for the different governmental agencies, processing the department's mail, tracking and filing of all crime reports, official complaint reports, citations, processing and maintaining the concealed weapons permits; processing and tracking of all departmental criminal subpoenas as well as maintaining the Department of Justice monthly criminal statistics report.

CIVIL CLERKJeanette Lamar, the Civil Clerk, is responsible for processing and maintaining all phases of the day-to-day workload for the civil division. The caseload deals with matters pertaining to the service of incoming civil process; including evictions, restraining orders; placement of keepers, writs of attachments, sheriff's property sales, summons and complaints, civil warrants, bank levies, returns of all processes, tracking and maintaining all monies relating to each case. The civil clerk processes approximately 700 cases per year.

EVIDENCE CLERKThe Evidence Clerk, Holly Dodson is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of evidence brought in by sworn personnel. The clerk receives, documents, and stores the property and evidence and is also responsible for the disposal, destruction or return of evidence and property as well as auditing and depositing any monies brought into evidence. The evidence clerk is responsible for the transcription of taped interviews, search warrants, and maintaining of coroner's records.

FISCAL OFFICERThe Fiscal Officer is Roni Kent and her duties encompass maintaining and tracking of State and Federal Grants as well as processing vendor claims, and maintaining and balancing budget ledgers and grant compliance. She also assists with the preparation of the department's various budgets and training needs, as well as preparing contracts and bid specifications. Roni tracks boat patrol activity and collects statistics for State reporting and necessary billings as well as monitoring the department's special grants and contracts, accounts payable and receivable, tracking department revenue, and working closely with various government entities.

CRIME ANALYSTOur Crime Analyst, Sue Jones, gathers crime statistics and prepares monthly and annual reports for the department as well as the county. She also collects data and submits required reports to the Department of Justice, monthly. She responds to special requests by outside agencies to provide reports of selected crime statistics. Sue assists the fiscal officer by submitting the agencies claims for payment, tracking the budget, and as needed helps to complete grant project reports. As the assistant to the Juvenile officer, Sue is involved in many other special projects that help the youth of our county.
